Mushrooms: Slay and Resist jewels include seven guardian mushrooms (lion’s mane, maitake, reishi, chaga, cordyceps, royal sun blazel and mesima), which contain a high level of polysaccharides (specifically Beta-glucans). These polysaccharides stimulate specific receptors on our immune cells (macrophages, neutrophils, monocytes, and dendritic cells). They also contain antioxidants and zinc.
Elderberry: Studies show that elderberries have significant benefits against cold and influenza symptoms. People who have taken elderberries have higher levels of antibodies against the influenza virus, showing that not only may the berry be able to treat flu symptoms, it may also be able to prevent influenza infection.
